Question / Help Distant/Distorted Audio Bug

So August 19th, I decided to return to streaming after months away for various personal reasons. I scored....a 12 hour stream with small but steady viewership, owing to a partner friend I marathon'd with. The 22nd, I decided to go again....except this time; audio bug. Upon review, it sounded like something being played through a phone speaker and from there being transmitted over a microphone (we all know how that sounds).
I tried asking for help a few times from the OBS Discord, but only one person/mod ever tried to help, and they disappeared for the night as I got the requested logs. They then ignored the few pings I flung their way in the days after that, so I gave up on actually getting useful help from there; the only suggestion I got was to update OBS (I had still been running on 21.1-ish)

Said Partner friend was eventually able to help me, and we thought we fixed it because I changed my audio options to being specific devices rather than "default", and for once it seemed to fix it in "Recording".
Then I streamed Monday morning.
And Tuesday afternoon I reviewed my VoD and realized upon nearly making a highlight....that the audio bug had been there the entire time and my smaller chat that day hadn't mentioned it FeelsBadMan.

So my friend is clueless and recommends reinstalling OBS entirely, and before I do that I figured I'd make a hail mary and ask you guys here for any advice/suggestions.
Here is a snap of my OBS mixer preview while talking and listening to music;

And here's the highlight in question, for the bug in progress https://www.twitch.tv/videos/305928015

Please keep in mind I never changed/updated any drivers between 19th-22nd, I never restarted my PC or anything, and nothing I seem to do fixes it.
Also, I tried changing the audio options previously when the Discord OBS support had me check it, and none of the options for Desktop/Speaker had any audio coming through except "default"

Only thing I really notice from the clip is that it sounds like your mic is being picked up at a lower sample rate, like 8 or 11khz? I'd double-check your windows recording device settings.

Nope. I mean disregarding the fact that mic pick up should have 0% effect on desktop audio for OBS....
but my mic is on 2 channel, 24 bit, 192000 Hz

Not to my knowledge, and again; my MIC isn't the problem.

My MIC is hearable just fine.

My Discord/Youtube/Game/Chrome sounds cannot be heard. I continue to be perplexed as to how anything relating to my mic, good or bad, can nearly mute/deafen game sounds for OBS....

Hey man, me and my friend have the same problem. Looks like all the audio (alerts, game, discord, tts, sound alerts) is passing through a phone call, seems distant.

Im trying to figure it ou what could be the problem.

My friend always had this but me, since i changed something in Virtual Cable Manager (emulates a audio driver to route differently inside obs). I did this to route Discord when i played CS:GO, and i reverted the settings but it still distant...

Lets us try to find this man and help each other.
