Display Numbers are switched after update to 27.0.0

I am having this exact same issue. Like the OP, OBS is changing my primary monitor to Display 2, even though Windows 10 has Monitor 1 set to be my primary monitor.

Display 1 should be 0,0 (Primary Monitor).

OBS is NOT changing my Windows 10 display settings; it's only showing the wrong order in the dropdown.

I've tried the suggestion to make a new Scene Collection, but that did not solve the problem. Like the orginial poster, the only solution that's worked for me is to downgrade to a previous version.

Thank you for any help/insight.

I have the exact same problem. I have 4 monitors .... 3 side by side with windows assigning 1 to the main display in the middle. I also have monitor on top. OBS gets mixed up which is on top and left and right. After every windows restart i need to go in properties for all but the main monitor and reassign the source. THIS REALLY LIMITS THE FUNTIONALITY OF OBS since I have six monitor source groups so for each group i need to go in properties for each monitor and fix it after every restart.
