Question / Help Display Colors very different from recording/stream

Hey Guys, I have this issue where I fine tune my Sony a5100 cam to look as I want it, and on the preview it looks perfect but when I record and playback the footage it looks completely different, as you can see in this picture below (please forgive how terrible I look after 4 days of isolation in italy due to the virus...) It looks as the contrast and saturation has been raised a lot, and I don't like it.

I have obviously made many adjustments to the video and output settings, also in the device, I set the color range to full everywhere and cbr -->vbr, also fyi the bitrate output for recording is set to 20k.

I'm honestly completely out of ideas :(

Let me know if anyone has a solution and thank you so much!

Use Partial range, not Full. You're getting color crush from a range mismatch somewhere in your production or playback chain. Color crush is one of the most immediately noticeable symptoms that someone is trying to use Full but does not have an actual complete Full range production chain.

Unrelated, if you're recording, don't use CBR or VBR. Those are bitrate-target methods.
Use CQP or CRF instead; they're quality-target based rendering methods. They'll use only as much bitrate as is needed to maintain a given image quality level, while keeping image quality consistent. Generally you want to use between 16-22, with lower being better quality, and 20 being around the point that the human eye won't be able to distinguish any quality loss (lower than 20 is for if you plan to edit and re-encode the video later).

Thank you! I'll try that immediately :)

I both stream and record, so I don't really know how to manage the setup yet, the only difference I have is the bitrate is a bit lower for streaming (15k) as I don't think youtube supports more. Should I leave vbr for streaming in this case?
