Display Capture

Hello, I am using a capture device to play my console games (Switch, PS5). I want to record from my webcam however I want to hide the display on the screen because it gets in the way I'm trying to play games. Is there a way I can view the game in full screen while I'm playing and still have OBS capture the screen the way I want?

If you're using the OBS Projector, be aware that it usually comes with a significant amount of capture and rendering latency. Using an HDMI splitter to feed the video signal to a monitor separately is encouraged.

You CAN (if latency is not an issue) right-click the Video Capture Device Source in the Sources list, go to "Fullscreen Projector (Source)" or "Windowed Projector (Source)" and assign only that one source to be projected to a display.

Wow I didn't even think to just run an HDMI from console to monitor. Thanks for the advice!
