Sometimes when recording the source: Display Capture, the preview screen (and the finished video recording) only seem to refresh when the mouse is moved. Eg: When right clicking on your desktop screen saver, the drop down context menu only shows on OBS preview when the mouse is moved at least a pixel from its position.

So if you're recording and the mouse is not being moved, nothing happening on screen will show up in OBS preview, it just looks like a still image

I'm having the same issue. It seems to have started recently. At the moment the only thing I have found regarding this issue is this thread.

I found a solution. There are 2 things you can do.

1. Turn off HDR (if your monitor supports it)

2. Or turn off 10-bit color in your graphics card settings. I have an AMD GPU so I went to settings - Graphics - (Scroll down) Advanced - and I turned OFF 10-bit Pixel Format
