Display Capture not capturing all windows on-screen

I stream poker and use display capture to do so.
I have not changed any settings in OBS in a long time but after the update of a poker client, all windows from that poker software (BetOnline) are invisible in OBS. When I move the window around the white outlines of it are visible in OBS but as soon as I release the window it goes completely invisible again.

I am not sure what to do about this and would appreciate any input.

I have tried window capture and game capture as well and no matter what options I select there, the result is the same as with display capture.

The application may have used an API to hide itself from screen capture.

Thank you very much for the reply!
I don't think they did that intentionally but I am starting to believe that you are right in that this is caused by the app and not OBS. I downgraded OBS to an earlier version to rule out the recent OBS update as a reason and nothing changed.

In the poker client I can select between D3D and OpenGL rendering, using OpenGL I was able to get it to work via Game capture in the mode "capture specific window", this is ok as a workaround.
Would you happen to have any tips on what to try to get "display capture" to work based on this?

@NutRaisin I made an account specifically to post this! It appears game capture does work on BOL, but window selection and switching scenes causes the capture to revert to the lobby. There are two behaviors that cause this:

1. Switching scenes
2. Opening multiple tables

I can't seem to keep the window captured consistently. Can you test this out?
