Hi, I'm livestreaming OBS on a Win11 system and having trouble with the Display Capture Source because the physical display names change from one OBS session to the next. Actually, the system also goes to sleep or is restarted along with re-launching OBS. The system has three displays, each with full HD (1920x1080) resolution. The displays are extended by the standard Windows method ("Extend these displays") and the one I want OBS to capture is always at coordinate 3840, 0; i.e., the right-most portion of the extended display.
Sometimes OBS lists that display as "Display 2" and sometimes as "Display 3". I need the source name to be constant so other users (who do not know how to modify OBS settings) can rely on the sources to show the correct content. Here's a link to the OBS Display dialog results: https://photos.app.goo.gl/9QBYmWrJ2MshD6gi6
Is there a way to "fix" the display names in OBS so that the desired display always presents as "Display 3: 1920x1080 @ 3840,0"? Or, is this really a Windows issue? if it's the latter, I could use some ideas on that front as well.
Thanks, in advance.
