Question / Help Display capture black screen

So before I use a game capture the display capture works perfectly fine. but after I use a game capture, it is completely black and I cannot use the display capture until i restart OBS however it happens again. Any ideas? I've tried taking off the game capture after, making a new display capture, and restarting the stream. The only thing that has worked so far is restarting OBS itself.

If you have solved your problem yourself, please let the others know how you did it If someone else has the same problem, he will find your post, read it through, is no step closer to solving it, and has wasted some time.

Thats because your trying to run 2 screens in one recording. Obs has to select one of these and prefers the Game capture above your display capture. Click on the display capture and select "Hide when not in use" Also make a second scene where your going to use your Display capture.

Where do i find this option to "Hide when not in use" ? I clicked on it but didnt find anything

Second person now asking you for your log.
It will give us a lot better information to go on than what this stream advisor user did in making assumptions that were wrong.

You have 3 different display capture sources all trying to capture the same screen. Clear out ALL the display capture sources, add one new one, then use add existing in ALL other scenes you plan to use display caputre in.
