Display and Window capture solution for Catalina

A lot of people have been asking why their display and/or window capture just gives them a black screen and the properties window says "there are no properties". By default, Catalina disables screen recording, but it's just a preferences setting. Go to System Preferences/Security & Privacy/Privacy/Screen Recording, and check the box next to OBS.

I have that issue but Im not running Catalina (Mojave) so I dont have that setting (screen recording) available in the picklist. Did you know where they hid it in Mojave?
