Dismal download speeds for OBS updates in Australia on 24-Dec-2020

Hi, I'm just leaving this note to flag that download speeds of OBS updates to several Ubuntu machines over the past hour or so have been dismally slow. Unworkably slow. I've been trying to update two systems over the past hour or so, and only one has successfully downloaded the 56 MB of data required. The other machine is up to about the 7th or 8th attempt. Maybe even more. Is someone able to check the relevant server's performance logs?

I believe the Ubuntu PPA is fully hosted on Launchpad, so we have no control over it.

Yeah, the Ubuntu PPA gets entirely managed by Launchpad so not much we can do there.

I can offer you the deb files though through an alternative download channel.
