disconnecting/reconnecting

Hello OBS Forum
I just updated the OBS28 to our church system and run this morning. In about 10 minutes, we had OBS disconnected and reconnecting after 9s (as default). I wonder if you can point me to the issue so i can fix it because it split our stream into two sections for the mass and some elder folks do not know how to get back to livestream.
the attached file is the log.
thanks
Bphan

your log does not indicate any issues with OBS as far as streaming or recording goes. but it does look like your PTZ cameras are having a hard time maintaining connections.

Wow, i did not have any issue with 27.4 version until i updated to 28. In my system i have isolate network with a router, 8 ports POE Gigabit switch with 4 cameras and PC connected to it.

Our church, using a NDI PTZ camera has NOT upgrade to v28 at this point
There are lots, but just checking, is this the Our Lady of Lourdes in Northridge, CA? Based on some of the source names, I'm guessing not

Is there a reason you are using 60fps? my camera sends OBS video at 60fps, but for me there is no reason to stream/record at that (we'll never use slow motion), so my base stream & recording settings are 30 fps... just curious as that does add to outbound bandwidth demands. For same bitrate, at lower fps, you'll have higher quality.. food for thought

Your log shows some Audio device issues... Personally, I disabled OBS Global Audio, and only use selected audio sources (now Mixer, previously had pre-recorded content during lockdown). Windows Audio can create devices (like HDMI connected monitor that has audio input port, etc)... best to review at OS and disable those that aren't needed
Oh, and I use PowerPoint in windowed slide show for service bulletin (presuming you are doing the same)

the log does show a disconnect
10:49:52.133: [rtmp stream: 'adv_stream'] Disconnected from rtmp://se.castr.io/static
10:49:52.133: Output 'adv_stream': Reconnecting in 9.00 seconds..
..snip..
10:50:01.134: [rtmp stream: 'adv_stream'] Connecting to RTMP URL rtmp://se.castr.io/static...
10:50:01.165: [rtmp stream: 'adv_stream'] Interface: Realtek Gaming GbE Family Controller (ethernet, 1000 mbps)
10:50:01.503: [rtmp stream: 'adv_stream'] Connection to rtmp://se.castr.io/static successful

The challenge is that the log doesn't (and usually won't) indicate why. It could be something else on your OBS PC, but more likely something else on the network between your OBS PC and castr.io. What? could be a huge list of possibilities. And you need real-time monitoring of LAN, and WAN connection, to identify if an issue on your end, or the ISP and its routing.
As a side note, we stream to Facebook (that's where our users are).. and for months now we've had brief disconnects almost every service. and nothing on our end... something between AT&T fiber and Facebook... nothing we can do about it.. really annoying.
Fortunately, my re-connect is set to a short time interval (2 or 3 seconds, as I recall vs 9s in your case)

Hello Lawrence,
Thank you for the information. First, I reversed my system to 27.4 and have not seen the issue since last 3 weeks.
As for 60pfs, i did that based on the recommendation from the vendors so i iwll try with 30pfs to compare.
we live in Seattle not SO CA,
It will be great if we can IM offline to share what we learn from our livestream experiences. My email is bphan6@hotmail.com
Thanks
Brandon
