Question / Help Disconnecting from server and frame drops, what's the cause?

I have a fairly elaborate explanation here but if anyone can help solve my problem it would honestly mean the world to me. My problem is that during my streams with OBS, I get disconnected by server an average of once per stream and I usually have frames drop. The frames will drop for about 5 seconds and all of them will be gone, reading 0 kb/s.

What's perplexing to me is that I'm on a wired connection with 7 mbps upload speed and this happens no matter what my bitrate is. These drops are the same whether I'm streaming at 1500 or 2500. Not only that but I never disconnect from chat either, not do I experience internet interruptions any other time when browsing the web.

I assume my speed isn't being throttled so what else could be the cause here?

I've come to some options that could be close or far off:

-It's somehow my computer, wouldn't know why.
-It's my modem, even though it's fairly new.
-It's my ISP (Cox)

Are there any other options? I've been thinking about calling my ISP and asking them about it but I'm not sure how far I'll get with that.

Thank you for your help in advance!

Red, this seem to work for me. clear you cache and flush your DNS. if you dont know how. go to your cmd and type in ipconfig /flushdns. i tested my stream for about 25 mins and dropped no frames. i do not know if this is a solid fix but it seemed to work for me.
