Disabling certain sources for recording/streaming

Hi there,

I am not aware if this is already a thing or if it is considered, but basically I would like to stream with my webcam on and record without it. In Output tab if I switch to advanced mode there is a lot of things you can modify for streaming/recording but disabling some sources for recording purposes would be an excelent addition. Now I know I can run 2 instances of OBS, but it would be really helpful if such a thing existed in OBS Studio.

This will probably be out of the scope of a plugin. You will need to render the scene twice, with two different sets of sources. The audio also needs to be processed and first of all created twice with the different sources in mind. This will of course quite heavily increase the cpu/gpu usage from OBS and probably needs deep integration into OBS.
So if this feature is added in the future it will take quite some time. But its definitely not a bad idea. For example a raw local recording with just the game while streaming with alerts and your webcam.
