Question / Help DirectX??!!

When I try to install when i hit next it says would you like to install DirectX witch i started to but it looked fishy so i stop and when i look at youtube videos they don't have to so i'm like what the heck!!

Will i get a virus from this? Also i tried the Zip file aand didnt work ti dll thing poped up

Did you actually run the directx installer yet?

It worked! thanks! But, one thing I can record for one second and iv looked up vids and stuff and i cant fix !
