I am on Windows 10 64-bit.When I try to download DirectX, it doesn't work. I do not know what to do. OBS installer wouldn't work without DirectX. Help me?
How did you fix it. I ran that DXFix and it was saying everything was ok. but the installer still gives me the error. this really should be in the installation/download section of OBS.
I am now having, what appears to be, the same issue with Windows 10. While trying to install OBS the installer states I do not have the correct DirectX components. It then directs me to a Microsoft page, which requires a login. According to dxdiag I am running DirectX ver. 11.2. And what is DXFix as stated in this thread? Any help would be appreciated.
Hello. I'm having the same problem as CamperJohn; am also using Windows 10. One difference is that my computer is using DirectX 12.
Below are two images, the first shows DirectX info for the computer I'm having problems with. The second image shows information for a second desktop computer on which I was able to install OBS without a problem.
