Thank you for this! I spent ages trying to figure out how to fix my install error! Worked like a charm.

The fix didn't work. It ran and said hit enter to close. Tried the installer again and the same message that I needed directx popped up. and directx still says i have a newer version installed. I scanned my computer but couldn't find a trace of directx to uninstall so i'm not sure what to do at this point.

Didn't work for me either. Like you say Tygrams, not sure what to do now, maybe check back in a few months and see if things have been fixed.

It ran and said that everything matched, but i still have the same problem that says that director x is missing.Can you please help me?
