So I have pulled out an old i3 Windows 7 laptop. It has a Intel(R) Graphics Media Accelerator HD and is currently running DirectX11. For some reason I get this error where the GPU doesnt support DX10. Here are the logs.

Your graphics card does not have sufficient support for DirectX 10. It does not matter if you have newer versions of DirectX software installed; your hardware does not support the necessary features, and no you cannot do anything about it apart from upgrading it.

The OBS Multiplatform release will support using OpenGL as a renderer, but if your GPU doesnt support DirectX 10, you probably won't be able to stream very well anyway. Even Xsplit is moving to require DirectX 10 GPUs.

Im looking just to do some very basic 480p streaming of an outdoor webcam. Any idea when we can expect the PC version of OBS Multiplatform?

Thanks
