14:23:22: Loading up D3D10 on Intel(R) HD Graphics...

Error: Could not initialize DirectX 10 on Intel(R) HD Graphics. This error can happen for one of the following reasons:

1.) Your GPU is not supported (DirectX 10 is required - note that many integrated laptop GPUs do not support DX10)
2.) You're running Windows Vista without the "Platform Update"
3.) Your video card drivers are out of date

If you are using a laptop with NVIDIA Optimus or AMD Switchable Graphics, make sure OBS is set to run on the high performance GPU in your driver settings.

Your Intel HD graphics does not support the required features. Just because you have DX11 installed doesn't mean the hardware actually has the features to make use of it, which is the case for the older Intel integrated chips.

Not currently, no. It may be possible in the rewrite.

Having said that, however, those GPUs are inherently very weak, and your CPU is quite old by this point. Streaming is *very* demanding. OBS makes use of modern tech in order to get the performance it does, so older/weaker hardware, even if they work in the future, will almost certainly not work all that WELL.

not really that system is just too weak to stream... and btw windows7 does literally a forcing dx11 installation due to its windows aero which doesnt actually mean your gpu supports it

Hi, I have an i5 chipset with integrated graphics. Should the i5 be making any difference here? I'm still getting the error, so I'm guessing it's a no.
