Difficulty in using OBS Studio by non technical users.

I am moderately experienced in software. But I am blank in video making. I just need to screen record on windows. After installation of OBS, due to moving docs around ignorantly the layout is disturbed. I want back default factory layout. I am not able to get it even after Reset UI and Reset Docs. Even AI could not help me in this regard.

OBS seems to be very powerful application. But adequate tutorials starting from layout management to making quality videos explaining each step in detail are not available even in you tube. The documentation is also not helpful. Technical writers of Help documentation missed many crucial and necessary basic details and jumped to advanced topics. More attention is paid to streaming in Help documentation rather the crucial basics and a gradual step wise progress!

I need help to restore docs to factory layout and on recording the screen. I shall be obliged for this basic help.

You can create a new scene in the "Scene Collection" section located in the top tabs; this allows you to start as if you were using OBS from scratch. (Note that this does not reset OBS itself, but it does provide you with a completely clean scene setup.)
