I have the latest Intel Macbook Pro 13“ with i7 and 32 GB with 2 external 27“ Monitor
I an using sometimes Zoom and mainly Teams. Now I want to use OBS to make my presentations and video conferences better. Therefore I setup 3 szenes… a) with the first monitor screen in background and myself on bottom right, b) second monitor in background and myself on bottom right and c) myself with a backgroundimage. Through the virtual cam I hand over everything to Zoom / Teams. I also want to tweak the audio signal with the equalizer filter in OBS.
The issue is the performance… The point is that I can not change the Macbook Pro (company computer). Now I have no idea what t do best. Here are some options:
1. Buy an external GPU… issue is that Apple only recomends AMD and OBS needs for good results NVIDIA
2. Buy a second Windows PC and get both screens per NDI or capture card to the Windows PC, mix the szenes there in OBS and send the final signal per NDI back to the Macbook Pro
I have no plan what is best or if this is working. What would you recommend for my situation? Maybe there is another solution I do not see now?
