Question / Help Desktop audio very loud

I like to stream and have pandora running for the people watching my streams. I have it playing through my headset/speakers which I have as my desktop audio device output. However in order for them to listen, they need to turn the volume way down because the music will be very loud. I can't reduce the volume in pandora and when i try adjusting the speaker volume on the slider just above the start/stop streaming button, nothing happens. How can I reduce the the volume of the music without just muting the music entirely?

Interesting, in obs settings -> audio, is your Desktop Boost set to 1? (otherwise it should work just fine, when adjusting desktop volume in obs does the volume meter follows it?)
