When using OBS to record/stream, if the volume tends to be low (or there is a sudden change in volume from high to low), the low volume portion of the audio does not seem to be captured. The final audio captured sounds like it is cutting a lot, especially if the desktop audio is not loud enough. I tried messing around with settings a little (Changing Peak Meter Type to True Peak and lowering the Meter Decay Rate) but nothing seems to be working.
When looking at the audio bar, the black dot that is constantly moving (which I presume to represent the captured volume) seems to drop to -60dB when the green bar is dropping (which I presume to be the real desktop audio fading but still having an audio). And it matches the timing when the audio gets cut off.
Is there anyway to solve this?
