Question / Help Desktop Audio Question

Does OBS take into account your primary volume slider in Windows? When I adjust mine, it doesn't seem to affect the stream volume at all. Whether at 1 or 100, it's still the same. If I adjust the application volume levels individually in the mixer, it works. If I adjust the volume directly in the application, it works. But not for the primary volume slider.

Just wondered if this was normal behaviour, or if perhaps my sound driver was not working correctly. I know you can adjust the overall volume in OBS with the red volume bar, but it's a lot easier for me if I can just adjust it based on what I hear from my desktop.

Here's a .gif to show what I'm talking about:

Thanks.

I'm pretty sure it's not affected by the master level, only by individual volume levels. Though the individual levels appear to go down when you lower the master, they are still essentially at 100%, it's only a visual thing microsoft is doing there.

Keep in mind that OBS is affected by its own volume level meter though.
