Question / Help Desktop Audio Problem

I'm using a Blackmagic Intensity Pro capture card to record game footage but no matter what I do, it keeps the game's volume at max. I've even muted desktop audio and I still see the decible meter going. Whats going on?

I go into the device source setting inside of obs which I assume it's in the properties. In the "audio input device" and it gives me "default" and "deklink audio capture". the default gives em sound but I can even mute it on the main gui. Its stuck at max volume. I try the other and it gets no signal. So I don't understand what you're talking about.

You can't mute device audio through the main GUI. You can only modify it through the device properties using the audio meter there. It's a design flaw with the current version of OBS, which is being fixed in the OBS rewrite.
