Hi, I just encountered the same issues with my Traktor S2 MK3 and Traktor Pro 3 setup. Using internal soundcards/mixers such as voicemeeter banana *did not work for me*, I ended up with having no sound in OBS.

- My solution was to download the latest driver and the updater for my controller from https://www.native-instruments.com/de/support/downloads/ (just to be sure, even though my drivers were actually the latest version).

- In the next step, I found that if you use the S2 MK3 ASIO Driver, you can select between a Monitor and a Master output. This will be important since you dont want the Headphone CUE in your recording..

- At this point, I had still no audio in my OBS studio, but switching the driver toTraktor *S2 MK3 WDM Audio driver* magically fixed it while still allowing to separately record the master and the monitor output.

- I highly recommend you get a WDM Audio driver that matches your controller and set it up in your traktor, if you are mixing interally.

- should you be mixing externally via a soundcard and an analog mixer, using your soundcard as input device *should* do the trick in OBS studio, however, there might be driver issues as well shoud you face any obstacles while recording.

***side note: I use an external soundcard to direct monitor my dj set, yet I use only the Traktor drivers in Traktor as well as in OBS, my soundcard is set as my sound device for windows though***

I hope this is helpful for you.

So I was having a headache with this until TechnoAddict helped me realize I was overthinking everything.

My hardware setup: I run the Traktor RCA Outs to my powered speaker Ins. I cue with the built-in headphone port in the Traktor per normal.
In "Audio Setup" I selected the "Traktor Kontrol S2 MK3 WDM Audio (WASAPI (Shared Mode))

Here is the output routing:

Make sure those settings work for you and that it cues the way it should through the headphone monitors. Remember, Traktor S2 MK3 only works with Windows 10. I had to upgrade from 7. Yes, you can still do the upgrade for free even as of June 2020.

To stream in OBS create a new "Audio Output Capture."
I named mine "Traktor Master Output."
Select the Master (Traktor Kontrol S2 MK3 WDM Audio).
My OBS scene loads in a "Desktop Audio" capture as well. Make sure you turn down that level otherwise it will double your audio.
