Hello all, seeking any info related to solving this audio problem:
• In the Windows Sound Control Panel, I ensure that the proper output device is selected (Focusrite 4i4).
• In OBS, I add an Audio Output Capture source to capture desktop audio. In Properties for that source, I select the Focusrite. For Advanced Properties, I select Monitor And Output.
• In the Audio Mixer, I can see that the sound level meter is active when I play desktop audio.
Problem 1: When recording, sound from the Audio Output Capture source is output and can be heard in the recording. However, during a live stream or a video conferencing call, it is not. (Inputs from the mics are output to both the recording and live stream/video conferencing call.)
Problem 2: Even though I can hear the audio, I cannot control the volume of it by lowering it in the Audio Mixer. I can only do this directly lowering the volume of the desktop audio (e.g., Youtube).
Anyone have any idea what could be causing this? Any links, info, etc. would be sincerely appreciated! Been troubleshooting this for some time now, don't know what the issue is.
