Desktop Audio issues

I have recently started streaming again.... And I seem to have lost all game sound. It was straight forward before, as desktop audio was set to default or to my headset. Now it seems that this doesnt work any more... :/ and there is no game sound at all. I seem to have fewer options than before to select, and all those result in the same... silence. I picks up my microphone but no game sound... HELP

Play it back on what? I use my headphones all the time. I used the headphones as a desktop audio before and it was fine. There has been a change somewhere. But not sure where

Under Advanced Audio properties, have you confirmed the Monitor and/or Output setting is what you need?

Yep tried that... may uninstall the lot and reinstall it all again

OK so I watched a few videos and discovered what the problem was!! I was in the sound control panel, and had to go into the advanced settings for my head set, and there in the "exclusive mode" the checked boxes should have been unchecked!!! Wow I have no idea how that changed... Thanks for your ideas :)
