Bug Report Desktop audio devices

downloaded the newest version and I can no longer select external Line in as Input

Changelog says

Remove 'use input devices for desktop audio' and make it so it can only be used via ini file. If you need to use it, then enable it in your profile ini file in %appdata%\obs\profiles, under [Audio], InputDevicesForDesktopSound=1 -- we are not going to provide an option in the UI for this because people kept enabling it without know what they were doing.

But I added InputDevicesForDesktopSound=1 under Audio and I still get no option to select a line in on desktop audio

I use the mic input for a mic, but the audio comes from another computer to the Line in.

This is a confirmed bug, you'll need to roll back to 0.613b for the time being, or use the "Listen to" function in Windows to mirror Line In to a playback device.

Actually, you can still get it to work in 0.62/0.621. When you enable the setting, the list of devices does not change in OBS. However, it will still use your default input device for desktop audio, even though the option is not there. So if you set your default input device to the one you want to be the desktop device, then start recording, even though the device list is "wrong", it will still work.

It's certainly a bug, though, and Jim has stated that he intends to fix it.
