My desktop audio plays a second or 2 after the video. I don't use any game capture hardware, only OBS Studio.
I don't have this issue on OBS Classic, but i'd prefer to use studio.
I've been through so many websites and forums and cant find anything that will help with this issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated ^.^

Very interesting: the game audio lags like you said, but the clapping comes a tiny bit too early. Mic and webcam are not in perfect sync, but that's not the point.
Does that only happen with Minecraft? When you play music, is it laggy as well? Is the Windows system sound lagging?

As it is a general delay I recommend removing the audio drivers of ypur primary sound device and reinstalling the latest ones again. If it still occures, you can try to use another recording software and see what happens then.

Updating my audio driver worked! I forgot that the last time i updated it it stopped my headset from working so i rolled it back to fix it. I got it all fixed now though. I really appreciate the help @zionsrevenge ^.^

Hello! Did this continue working for you? I had this issue quite a while ago (not all games and some were worse than others). It eventually was fixed with an OBS update but I find after the last update (21.1.0) it's been doing this again. Even updating audio drivers only fixed it temporarily for me and it soon after reverted to a delay. Only the Desktop (game) audio is an issue - cam and voice are in-sync. Also odd that this doesn't show up in recordings or on the OBS preview (audio bar jumps to match the video perfectly) - only on what gets sent to the stream.

Could it perhaps be tied to a Windows update? There are several threads on this which are popping up with a similar issue. https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/desktop-audio-delayed.67869/ provides an interesting solution of disabling timestamps. I have yet to try it but will confirm tomorrow.
