Desktop audio capture doesn't work

Hello forums and readers,

I have an issue that's been going on for about a week. I'm trying to record a video that includes the audio from my computer and my microphone. I've done multiple tests (I've linked an unlisted YouTube video that I uploaded to show what's going on), and I have gotten no where. I've also updated every driver, looked up every issue relatable to mine, but none of the troubleshooting works. I've linked the log file down below. Can someone please help me?

Are you on a bootcamped mac?
Have you tried disabling the desktop audio device, applying, then re-enabling it?
 
Apple's drivers for their built-in audio device blocks capturing. You need to relay all audio through a virtual audio device to get audio to capture.
