So I've been recording for a while using the same headset/mic combo the whole time. Very recently and only occasionally the audio from my desktop bleeds over into my microphone feed causing an unbearable echo of the game audio. It doesn't seem to depend on the game I'm playing or the volumes that I record at, it seems completely random.
The only filter I have is a noise gate on my microphone (which originally fixed the issue but now the bleed over is too high a volume so it triggers the gate, leading me to believe it's a progressing issue)
I've made sure I'm only recording 1 track of each audio line,
I tried adding delay to both lines individually to offset the echo but to no avail (actually worsened the issue),
I've re-installed OBS which did not solve the issue.
