Desktop audio & Application audio capture suddenly stopped working

Hello, I've been having audio issues with obs recently.
I have no idea what's causing it, but both desktop audio and application audio output have absolutely no sound. Mic audio seems to work fine though.
No matter what fixes I attempt (enabling/disabling windows sonic, making sure device exclusivity is unchecked, checking audio quality in sound settings, reinstalling obs, making sure the right device is default in obs & sound settings, ramping up the gain, plugging everything in) it just won't work. It was perfectly fine yesterday. And as a side note, my windows version is up to date, if that makes any difference.

Is there anything else that can be done this point? I'm all out of options...
Any help is greatly appreciated.

After 3 hours of troubleshooting, of course it's after making a post asking for help that I figure out it was the dumbest of dummy things I overlooked. Apparently, for obs to pick up my audio, absolutely EVERYTHING needs to be on max volume for it to be noticeable. I'm talking maxed out in every UI they throw at you. I think I can protect my ears by just abusing the gain filter though... Hopefully...
