Desktop Audio works fine with capturing my gameplay sound on my stream. I want to play music in the background but I want to be able to solely control the volume of the music being played on desktop audio 2. As of now if I play music and lower it on OBS in desktop audio it also lowers the sound of the gameplay on the stream...How do I do this? Do I need to buy some other equipment?

Use VLC to play audio.
Use a virtual audio cable and use it as VLC output
