I’ve scrolled thru some of the post on here and can’t seem to find my answers

Is using a desktop better to run OBS? Verses a laptop?

Is wireless ok to use or would connecting right to my router be better?

Reason I’m asking, I just started to use OBS for “Facebook live” the feed is horrible compared to just using my webcam with out it. I don’t “game on it” I just use it for google sheets etc. I ran the wizard. I’m very knew to this I taught my self how to use it, but now I’m stumped. Maybe I over looked some post that someone can direct me to?
Thanks

Yes. All other things being equal, a desktop is better than a laptop and wired is better than wireless.

If you're run the wizard and are getting bad results from the settings it suggested, post a log and someone can look at it to see what the problem is and what adjustments might help.

Please post a log with your issue! Here's how...
