Hi, is there a device/plugin that can do live noise reduction on VIDEO ? I need to clean up my webcams and aliasing on one cam, basically I need different kinds of filters to remove noise, grain, stepladder type aliasing from cams that don't do clean hdmi out, things like that...

Thanks.

As far as I am aware, no, there is no filter like that for OBS.

BlackMagic might sell something on the device side that could do it, but even if they do, you're looking at hundreds if not thousands of dollars for that kind of thing. At which point it's cheaper just to get a better cam setup that doesn't have the problems to begin with. And it probably wouldn't work with webcams anyway.

-Just as a side note, NVidia Broadcast can do live noise reduction on the webcam, but it does tend to use a lot of resources on your PC.. If your PC is doing fantastic, then it may be an option. On my PC, NVB maxes out my resources just with the AI Chroma, but I'm gaming in 4k and streaming in 720p60fps. But, just as another option to try I thought I'd mention it. I too have been looking for a simple denoise filter, hoping to find something with lower resources.

Any news about this ? Just need a denoise filter for webcams for streaming, even if it can reduce 25% it's still something

Video NR done correctly & in real time would more than likely cripple even the most powerful consumer PC's. Better left to post. Improved lighting may help your cause.
