I have read a little bit about delay and dropping frames but I still don't fully figure them out. When my internet is giving me problems while live streaming to YouTube OBS is sometimes dropping frames and sometimes it adds delay to the stream. I don't understand why it sometimes does one and sometimes another. I would far rather accept OBS "saving" frames, that is, adding delay to live stream than dropping frames completely causing YouTube to lose parts of my live stream. Is it possible to tell OBS to add delay to my live stream rather than dropping frames when it is facing internet problems?
