You should be able to add the ppa repo to your Debian installation.

If you can't, you can check this out. Easy enough to make a package by yourself.

tried to compile it from the ppa today. seems rly impossible, because it has dependencies you cant solve. :(

Unfortunately, the dependencies required for OBS aren't provided in the Debian sources until sid (unstable), which almost nobody uses (I'm betting).

You can temporary add unstable repositories (and better to add testing ones too if you use stable version), do aptitude update, install packages needed, and afterwards comment or remove the added repositories and do aptitude update again.

Can anyone reach out to the developers of the libraries in SID and see when these libs will make it into testing/stable?
