Darkest Dungeon 2 can't be captured via game capture

I've talked to a few streamers and they mostly use window or screen capture to play it, but there was one girl who actually captured it via game capture.
I've tried eveerything: admin, borderless windowed.. etc.. nothing works. Just black screen. No idea why this game refuses to be captured

yep, works with both closed. very weird. Looks like Riva Tuner overlay causes quite a mess

Yep, why it's on the Known Conflicts software list. Essentially if more than one program is trying to inject a hook into a process' memory, it's down to luck if it works or breaks horribly.
