Heyho,

I want to record my Games record/stream some games. Csgo and LoL. But the Problem is, the Videos and Stream are darker as on my screen. Can I change it? If yes, can maybe anyone tell me how?

And the second problem is the quality. It is so bad but I didn't found a way to fix it.

My Gear is:
I5-4430
16 GB RAM
Geforce GTX 1060 6GB

Download 6mb
Upload is 3mb I think

I'm using Studio

I know, it give videos for the quality but in my opinion it's better to ask here because I get help for my gear.

And sorry for the bad english

Thanks for the help

Greats
Jens

Hello Thanaki,

Your gear seems fine for recording.
Although.
Your upload is to low for streaming.
Its might only be sufficient on a 2500 bitrate ( 2.5 mb upload )
That means that you cannot stream FPS games but you can stream RTS games.
So LoL would be a good option to stream with a 2500 bitrate since it doasn't need to load allot of frames when moving you camera in-game.

Thats my tip for streaming.

Now lets move on to recording.
Can you post a log of one of your streams / recordings?
If you don't know how to post a log click this link.

This helps us to view your current OBS settings so we can suggest a better one for you.

Which upload bitrate, resolution, framerate, encoder, preset is used?
Which advanced settings in OBS (color space etc.) is configured?

Is it too much to ask for, if I tell you that there are sticky threads in here, that should be checked first?

My guess about the problems:
1. maybe you try to use more than 30fps or more than 720p while only having <5000kbit/s upload. In this case the pixelation/blurriness of fast paced games (or in general games that have fast high contrast/detail changes one the whole screen) is normal with this low bitrate
2. maybe your color space is set to full instead of limited, so some browsers/video players will play your stream/video too dark.

Color range seems to be fine. Is the brightness problem also visible in the OBS preview, or only during playback (could be a problem with the video player or video editing software)?

You are recording 720p 60fps with NVENC at 30000kbit/s so there should be almost no pixelation/blurryness but of course the recording won't be as sharp as your native resolution (1080p).
As you record with NVENC, you could simply record in 1080p 60fps.
I suggest to change bitrate to a quality based setting (CQP) and choose a quality factor between 15 and 19 for decent quality.

Is there any reason why you have window capture + game capture + game capture + game capture + game capture in one scene?
I get the need for window+game capture to be able to grab the launcher window and the game itself, but having multiple game captures in one scene can cause problems.

I would also suggest to disable the iGPU (Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600) in you BIOS.
