Daktronics scoreboard plugin - A plugin to read RS-232 serial data from a Daktronics scoreboard controller and update OBS sources.

This plugin provides a filter that can be applied to a source. The plugin provides a dock under the Tools menu to specify a serial port, connects to a Daktronics scoreboard controller such as the AllSport 5000, and reads data in real-time. The filter type can be selected between Show/Hide, Update Text, or Update Color. This allows you to create a custom video scoreboard to project or display on a large-format display, or create an overlay score bug for streaming competitions.

bkpeterson updated Daktronics scoreboard plugin with a new update entry:

Version 1.0 released

This version has the following updates:
  • Allows typing in a custom serial port if not detected
  • Fixes the color change filter
  • Updates the logging within the custom dock
NOTE: The Daktronics scoreboard controllers only send data for the fields that have changed since the last transmission. When the clock stop button is pressed, the entire data set is transmitted. If the OBS data is not in sync with the actual scoreboard data, start and stop the game clock to syncrhonize.
