Hello there OBS community, I would like help in figuring this out.
Here's my scenario, I have a local file server set up inside my house and would like to set up my OBS Broadcast Settings to save a new folder for each date that I'm recording and save any videos from that day inside them.
I've already tested and confirmed that it will save to the server but need a little bit more configuring done.
Example:
I'm recording on October 25th, 2014.
I'd like it to create the following structure
2014-10-25/
/Video1
/Video2
/Video3
/etc
Currently this is my folder file path for my output settings
"\\SERVERNAME\PARENT FOLDER\SPECIFIC PROFILE\.mp4"
My end goal would be preferably
"\\SERVERNAME\PARENT FOLDER\SPECIFIC PROFILE\{RecordingDate}\.mp4"
I prefer to leave the end of it as \.mp4 as I like the generalized naming convention that is used for the videos, though I don't want to have to manually create the folder and change the output settings each time.
