Question / Help Custom game menu with chroma key

hello all,

I like making game specific overlays for myself.
I used to do this a few years ago. What I then would use is make a full screenshot picture. Color anything that needs to be transparent to a specific color. I would leave HUD's out so that it would become game specific.
Then use the chroma key on obs to select the specific color from not showing.
Im missing this option in current build.
Anyway i can do this again?

Does this only work in a certain scene pick?
I cant seem to get it to work in game capture. The screen will still show the colors i eventually choose a filter for chroma key to hide.

Is the HUD not an image on top of your stream? I think I misunderstood what you meant.
So it's actually inside the game?
When you key out a color, what do you have behind it? Just black background color?

Actually, now that I read your question post again... Why don't you just save it as a transparent png?

But anyway, if you still want to use Color Key - you need to apply it to the image source, not the game source.
