Question / Help CSGO streaming problem ? help please

Hi , i've been struggling to stream csgo for some time now . Whenever i try to stream csgo my game is stuttering and laging even my fps in-game stays over 120 (because of monitor ) . I tried using game settings on LOW , MEDIUM , HIGH i've tried low , high resolutions with low , high settings and still when i start my stream my game is stuttering and lagging . I tried setting obs on different settings ( preset to superfast then back to veryfast ) , downscaling resolutions all the way to 360p and going up to 720p , setting stream fps from 23 - 30 and it is always the same thing . I've been turning ON and OFF low latency mode , lovering quality but still the same . although i am able to Play GTA 5 on high and stream on 540 , play assassins creed unity on high and stream at 540 , play diablo 3 and stream it on 720 .... i do not understand why is the problem persistent when playing only CSGO online ?? I do not have stream on in browser and i have turned off the preview .

i52500k 3.3
Msi HD Radeon 7850
12GB RAM 1600
Internet speed 40/2,5

your OBS frame times look good.
I know you tested both ways, but its ideal to leave aero enabled with using game capture.
Are you using any launch options for CS:GO? if so please list all of them
try disabling the OBS preview window: right click on preview, click preview and uncheck enable view.
set your base resolution to your in-game resolution: (1280x960 I believe) then downscale to the idea resolution (based on your bitrate, that would be around 480p
set preset back to very fast.

your cpu isn't having issues streaming (as in, the encoding process isn't hurting your CPU's performance as far as OBS is concerned, but...

note that lower resolution gaming relies more on the CPU and as does OBS so there might be a chance that either forcing CS:GO to multiple threads combined with lower resolution gaming could cause more frame lag since both CS:GO and OBS are both CPU intensive (plus no hyperthreading on i5s).

EDIT: Ideally, when trying to work out an issue, take out as many variable as possible. remove any other sources from OBS including text or make a new scene with just CS:GO. start there with the above and test for a full 5 minutes. also make sure you are testing in a 128 tick practice server.

-threads 4 - high -console -freq 120 -novid +exec autoexec.cfg -nojoy m_rawinput "0" m_customaccel "0"

i have tried with and without Aero and preview is already disabled ? From sources i have SubAlert (window capture) ,
one picture one txt file and game capture ?

-threads 4 - high try without the threads and high. you might try and use the VCE build of OBS:
https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/obs-branch-with-amd-vce-support.13996/
this will put the majority of the streaming load on your GPU.

try setting your base resolution to 1280x960 then downscale a little
 
i've been trying VCE build and it is a lot better now have very small stuttering but it is gona be ok , am still trying out options but it is way better now . Thanks dping

No prob. I think you were just trying to much with that i5 which is perfect for cs:go but a little much with streaming. can you screenshot your AMD VCE settings tab in OBS?
 
Two problems that persist are my upload speed and my CPU coz both of those cant stand higher quality . For csgo i can use up to max 768 bit rate but 500-550 is much better and it only kind of works when using VCE version. The problem is that on that number i can not get clear stream and watchable stream , even when i put on 360p it has huge quality issues , The thing that i do not understand is how is everything working when i play and stream GTA5 (almost everything high ) , Unity (high) , Diablo3 ( everything max ) but i only have lag problem and stuttering on csgo . On other games i go up to 1300 bitrate and it works like a charm . But csgo is the only thing that refuses to work

Well read through a little here but with custom checked, you can run quality preset up to 1080@30 or 720@48. anything above those two will need balanced or speed preset.

only two other things to change is IDR and GOP to 2x your "fps" thats pretty much it.

After i have changed IDR and GOP i can stream and play , it is not great i mean there is some fps drops but its playable ... Gona keep testing it see how it is gona behave .... thank you very much
 
i have changed IDR and GOP to 30 resolution to 540p bitrate to 1000 and i have limited ingame fps to 122 in the first few min it lags but after it works pretty much OK , i tested it on MM and tried while playing on faceit although it was swe server with huge ping and it worked lets say ok . Still gona continue to test it :)
