Question / Help [CSGO]GOOD PC AND LOW FPS/NOT SMOOTH

Hi, i'm an pro CSGO player, tier 1 Brazil, and i'm pretending to stream rank s without lose my performance in game, and i'm losing a bit. All help is welcome

heres my specs:

• i7 6700k + zotac 1060 6gb + 1x 16gb memory
  
• 750w power supply EVGA
• mobo z270-x gaming 5 AORUS
• ssd

and my game when i stream isnt smooth, as like as i play without stream, even with that good config, can you guys help me?

3500 bitrate is nowhere near enough for 1080p 30fps. Lower resolution to 720p in OBS (Settings -> Video, the Output value) and see if that helps.

so i just put base canvas and output scaled in 1280x720? both?

But still not 100% smooth. I also triyed to put afinity in obs only for those cpu: 1, 3,5 and 7
as i saw in other post. I dont know if it is good or bad.

And i didnt change afinity for csgo cpu's

Have other tips?

Are you capping FPS in your game to ensure that the GPU is not maxed out?

I'm having a similar problem. FPS in OBS is dropping below 60. In-game is fine

what do you mean with maxed out? i dont use the command to show the fps, but i feel that its not smooth....

i use 144hz monitor

If you're playing CS:GO, make sure you're capping FPS at 144 then. If your PC is able to hold 144 steady, without maxing out your GPU, OBS should work fine.

OBS requires GPU resources to function properly, so if your game is using the whole thing, it will run into issues.
