Hello
Setup:
CPU: Intel I5 4460
GPU AMD Radeon R9 290
Mainboard: MSI H81M-E34
Monitor 1: BenQ GW2250 (1920x1080) Plugged into GPU
Monitor 2: AOC 916Swa (1440x900) Plugged into Mainboard
Upload: 9000kbps possible (in OBS set to 3000)
Windows 7 64
Without OBS running I have 200-300 FPS in CS GO. With OBS running it drops to 50-150 and CS is neither playable nor streamable anymore.
I tried the x264 and quick sync encoder. Both had the same problem. With quick sync i did not get a better result.
Now I read that it may be due to my monitor 1 where Im playing and therefore capturing the game is plugged into the GPU and therefore quick sync has no effect. Is that true?
And can anyone explain me how to fix this?
Do I need to play on my 2nd smaller monitor? :O
