Question / Help crossfade between sorces

Hello,
I want to have a camera in full screen and a PowerPoint presentation for notes at one side. Is it possible to create a crossfade between these two sorces. I think it will look way better than having the scenes next to each other without a crossfade.

You can create 2 scenes, one with your camera in full screen and the other with your powerpoint presentation, you can switch between both with a fade transition.
In case you want your camera in both scenes, one full screen and one windowed, add the second instance of your camera source with the "add existing" option, not with "add new". In case you want to crop both sources independently, don't use the crop filter (do remove it, because it is global for all instances of a source) but crop the sources by press and hold the ALT key and drag the borders of the source with the mouse to crop (this is specific for each instance of a source).

thanks for you help, but that´s not what I want to have. I try to explain it otherwise. I know how to create sorces and stuff like that. What I want is something way more specific: First of all, I wanna have my camera in full screen. That´s easy. But now, I want to add some notes (from a PowerPoint) to pop up on the screen. For example, on the left side I want to have the notes. But I want a smooth crossfade in between the camera and the powerpoint) and that the PowerPoint is also transparent, so I´m still able to see the camera through it

You could do powerpoint with a blue or green background and then use chroma to overlay over your camera video

thanks, that´s also the best way i found to do it even if it wasn´t they way I wanted

You can make a source semitransparent by adding an image mask filter and changing the opacity value.
