so i just upgraded my computer and switch to obs studio and went to install CRL addon, updated all the files it required but even after several attempts CRL still does not show up as a source option any idea?

1. You can't use OBs plugins in OBs Studio.
2. For OBs Studio it's called the Browser source plugin.
3. It's much easier to grab installer with the Browser Source plugin already bundled: https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/23342/
4. Make sure that you have the vs2013 (x86 and x64) runtiimes installed: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40784
