Question / Help Crashing while using Browser Plugin

Hello Everyone!

This is a rather small problem, but I think it should be addressed. I use OBS Studio on Ubuntu 16.04 with the recommended Browser Source Plugin to show Twitch Chat via Streamlabs. Sometimes the chat only shows partially which can be easily be cured by reloading the browser source.

There's the issue: When I reload the Browser Source, in ~1/2 of the times OBS crashes. I didn't find a similar issue in the Forum so I think it's not very abundant.

Does anyone know how to prevent this?

The qt-webkit browser source for linux is not maintained by the OBS team, you'll need to reach out to the plugin developer for more assistance.

The linux-qtwebitkit browser is deprecated now, the author has a new browser source plugin he is recommending people use instead.
