Hello,
I am coming over from xsplit I have found that OBS does not produce FPS stream lag like xsplit does, in other words when I use xsplit the stream look like I'm really broadcasting 20 fps when I should be doing 30 or 60 fps. As soon as I came to OBS I noticed that issue is completely gone. The problem I am having with OBS is it seems to crash and stop responding far to frequently.
I am noticing some strange things.
I have 3 web cams 1 Logitech FV TouchCam N1
And two Logitech HD PRO C920's
I am trying to do two scenes one labeled Game where I have my Deck-link 4k extreme and one Logitech c920 as input devices.
The second Scene is labeled cams where I have the deck-link 4k extreme and 3 web cams in the scene.
Few issues first If I am on the Game scene and try to click on the cam scene OBS stops responding and I have to control alt delete to shut it down. This happens in the other direction as well if I am on the cam scenes and go back to the game scene same effect. I keep seeing this in the log
Using directshow input
------------------------------------------
device: Decklink Video Capture,
device id (null),
chosen type: HDYC, usingFourCC: true, res: 1920x1080 - 1920x1080, fps: 60.0002-60.0002, fourCC: 'HDYC'
Warning -- DShowPlugin: Failed to connect the video device pin to the video capture pin, result = 80040217
Using directshow input
Also I I start OBS fresh and select the cam scene and click preview stream OBS in the top window says stopped responding and if I wait it will take about 3-5 minutes to bring up the scene at which time I run into the above when trying to go between the scenes.
Id like to add that I am a fan of your work and software and would welcome a premium fee for the services. Like x split has.
This PC is dedicated only for streaming and receives its video via my gamin machine via HDMI 1920x1080 @ 60fps I have also noticed that when in the came scene the decklink input flickers and each time it does OBS freezes during the flickering.
Here is a video of the problem http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OLu8XOBtPqk&hd=1
see attached for full logs
Thanks,
cisco
