Question / Help Crashing On Startup

I just downloaded the newest version of OBS, after not updating in a while, and it installed but crashed before opening. It keeps crashing without opening whenever I click it. Help?

Sorry, didn't know, this should be it because it's what OBS offered to copy into my clipboard when it crashed.

Last time I tried going to the directory, i guess I failed

not very technology inclined, despite the fact I'm generally at a computer most days.

I fixed it, I think I had to delete the previous installation entirely and i guess I failed to do so or something.

Why were you set to use opengl as the renderer in obs?

I honestly don't know? I tried fiddiling with the settings once to make my recordings/streams smoother, and it kind of worked, but i'm not very adept when it comes to stuff like that because I've never really delved into it past things I need to know in the now. Is opengl bad?

As a renderer in OBS, VERY.
The ability for users to set it was removed because of the disproportionate number of problems it caused coupled with the number of "youtube university" guides recommending it with no good reasoning behind it.
